Sacred Drums Available and Custom Made

All Drums are sacred because they help us come into the Universal Heart Beat. They draw us into the oneness of all that is.

The drums that I build are single sided hoop drums and can be held from the sinew ties on the back of the drum. I hand build each of the drums in a prayerful way. Each drum is unique to the tree spirit and the animal spirit that it embodies. No two drums are alike.

Since these are handmade they will not have the “factory manufactured” look.

Each is made with a maple hoop and cowhide. The drums are tied off with sinew to lessen the effects of weather on the tone. Each drum comes with a beater, however I encourage you to create a beater of your own and will provide instructions if you request them.

You can special order your drum and I will create it with your energy in mind or for the person to whom you would like to give it.

For custom orders I invite you into a conversation about the purpose and meaning of the drum for you and then the symbols and energy is specific to your needs and desires.

Drums become good friends and it is important that if you do not create your own drum that the drum you choose to be your companion is created in a good way.

I do not paint the drum heads. I allow the spirit of the animal to manifest in its hide.
